Terms of Use of the Site

These Terms of Use of the site https://ukrajinskyinstitut.cz, hereinafter – the Site, which belongs to Ukrajinský institut v Praze z.ú. (Company ID: 21281521), hereinafter – the Institute, hereinafter – the Rules, which created and administers the Site, have been developed and approved to ensure the full possibility of safe and responsible visiting and further use of the Site.

Exact and unconditional fulfillment of all provisions of these Rules is a mandatory requirement for any person who has opened/downloaded the Site and/or uses its functionality, hereinafter – the User.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE RULES, WE ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE SITE.

The Institute reserves the full and unlimited right to make changes, additions or modifications to the text of these Rules, placing them for general review as part of the Site or on the Institute’s official website at: https://ukrajinskyinstitut.cz.

Accurate and strict implementation of all provisions of these Rules is mandatory for all Users of the Site, regardless of the fact and completeness of their familiarization with these Rules.

The Site is free for all its users. Use of the Site by minors is possible only with the consent of their parents/legal representatives, which is presumed.

The Site may use cookie technology to facilitate use of the Site. Cookies are sent to the User’s computer/device and identify them as a unique user, while storing individual preferences and technical information of Users. In this case, the following may be used:

– Permanent cookies that remain on the computer of the User until they are deleted by such User; – Temporary cookies that exist until the browser is closed/terminated by the User.

In case of non-acceptance of the terms of use of cookies, the User of the Site has the right to independently change the browser settings so that it does not accept cookies or independently seek help from an IT specialist. In this case, the User’s access to some sections of the Site may be restricted.

All rights to any graphic, literary and other materials posted/published/used on the Site are protected in accordance with national and international legislation on copyright and related rights.

The Institute does not bear any responsibility for the use/non-use of the information posted on the Site, which is of an exclusively auxiliary nature and in no case can be considered as advice or has a binding force of inference.

A User of the Site is any person who has opened it and agrees with these Rules and other documents and rules for using the Site. First of all, the User must familiarize himself/herself with these Rules. In case of disagreement with the content of the specified document, the User should immediately leave the Site, since any further actions regarding its use will mean the full, informed, indefinite and irrevocable consent of such User to the applicability and effectiveness of all norms and provisions of these Rules.

Any use of materials located on the Site in whole or in part is possible only with the obligatory indication of a link to the Site, the authors of the texts and other details that allow to properly identify the information and other materials placed on the Site as such.

All data containing personal information of Users may be collected, stored and used by the Institute exclusively on condition that they are received through the mechanism of filling out the relevant forms on the Site with the mandatory provision by Users of informed consent to such collection, storage and further use of personal data, the text of which is available on the Site.

The Institute has the right to restrict or close access to the Site of Users who systematically or significantly violate these Rules.

All rights to intellectual property objects (including, but not limited to, copyrights, patents, know-how, confidential information, rights to databases, as well as rights to trademarks and industrial designs, registered or unregistered) on the Site belong to the Institute or third parties who are respected Rights Holders under the relevant agreements.

The Institute will have the right at any time and without prior notice to Users to unilaterally change the design, content of the Site, any information on the Site or its individual parts, change and/or supplement the software used, scripts and other objects located or used to ensure the operation of the Site.

The Institute has the unlimited right to dispose of statistical information related to the functioning of the Site and resources, as well as information and objects of the Site Users for its own needs.

Under no circumstances shall the Institute and its employees and contractors be liable to Site Users or third parties for any indirect, incidental, consequential damage, including lost profits or lost data, information, damage to honor, dignity or business reputation, caused in connection with the use of the Site.

These Rules are governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable law of the Czech Republic and applicable EU regulations. Any disputes related to them or their use shall be resolved in accordance with such applicable law in competent courts.
